How I forgot to review this place I'm not sure. What a hidden treasure. We were in the Smokies and happened upon this place during our self-guided tour through the town. The staff were so kind and took the time to educate us on how the donuts were made. We really enjoyed sitting at the bench and people watching. Really a great small town vibe. Hope to come back soon.
This place is so cute and original! Saw this place on Yelp and went out of our way to go there! The donuts are hand dipped to order. You can create your own or choose from their "community favorite" recipes. You get to watch them make the donuts as you wait. They offer complimentary hot coffee to guests. The guy working the counter and making our donuts was super helpful! Donuts are DELICIOUS! We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Tennessee!
These donuts are ahmazing! The blueberry lemon escape is sweet and ends with a bit of tang! First time here and we met the owner. She is incredibly sweet and helpful. The ordering process was super easy and the vibe is very down home and friendly. The view to the courthouse is so pretty especially decorated for Christmas!
We stopped here for a quick breakfast treat before leaving town, after paying homage to Queen Dolly across the street. We were warmly greeted and explained how it works, ordering our choices with a grease pencil on a laminated menu. You could choose from popular ready made combos or make your own. Each cake donut is dipped in icing and topped with assorted toppings when you order- not sitting around getting stale and hard! We ordered a variety and all were tasty. When we ate some there they were still warm with gooey icing. My favorite was probably the chocolate with oreo crumbs and a gummy worm. They also appear to have a space for small events and do catering. They have coffee drinks as well. Coffee was fine but let's be honest we were there for the donuts!
This is a great concept. I had a cake doughnut with chocolate icing, pretzels, and a caramel drizzle. It was great:)
